Mikes Diary - Presidents Cup Day 3

There's not much I can say after Saturday's play. I tip my hat to the American side as they played very well in both the Foursomes and Fourball competitions, racing out to a big lead. We really have our backs against the wall now and while it might seem like an impossible task to come back from this large deficit, we're going to go out and try.

We have a great team with very talented players and we'll just go out and do our best. Who knows what might happen? I can assure you that no one on our team has given up yet.

Captain Player has put a number of the guys who are playing best at the front of the lineup in hopes that we can get on a bit of a roll and maybe have that filter down the lineup. We'll also hope that we can get the crowd on our side which can help us climb this very tall mountain.

I'm going to play Tiger Woods in the fourth match of the day and I'm looking forward to a fun day. Right now, I feel I'm playing some of the best golf of my career and I'm hoping to keep that going on Sunday afternoon.

Finally, I can't say enough about everybody at Royal Montreal. The fans and volunteers have been absolutely amazing. This is an experience that I'll never forget.
