This past Sunday after The Barclays, I flew into Halifax, Nova Scotia for the third annual Mike Weir Miracle Golf Drive for Kids. As soon as I got off the plane, I headed to the golf course and put on a golf clinic for all of the children and sponsors who were involved. The event was a huge success and I had a lot of fun meeting new people and being around the kids. I enjoy taking time out of my busy schedule to help those less fortunate and to contribute to such a great cause.

On Monday I attended a gala that hosted 850 people, which raised a lot of money for the IWK Health Centre. I just want to send a special thank you to all of those who helped make this event a success and thank you to all of those who contributed to my wonderful maritime hospitality. I'm always amazed at how appreciative and welcoming the folks from the Maritimes are.

After the event, a few of us travelled over to New Brunswick where we did some fly fishing on the Miramichi River. I had the catch of the day and hooked an 8lb Atlantic Salmon.

Now it's time to get back to the grind. I am off to the second FedEx Cup event, the Deutsche Bank Championship. I've had a lot of success here in the past and I'm excited to get out there and make a climb in the standings.
