So they have a new course in the rotation this year called the Monterey Penninsula CC-Shore Courses...Not much on this course except it's listed as 6361yds long which is,if correct, about a 1000 shorter than Riviera & about 500yds shorter than Spyglass& Pebble Beach which both play 6800-6900--yds...haven't found a good description yet,I'll keep looking ;)

OK I found some info on the "pebble beach pro-am" website...It's a par 70 with 3 par 5's & 5 par 3's and play's 6875yds which is in line with the other 2 as far as length ;)It looks a little tougher than Poppy hills in that it has 2 meaty par 4's at 485(16th) & 490(1st)...and 2 beefy par 3's at 224(9th),&226(7th)...the 5's are medium length at 548(6th),544(10th)&599(12th),

looks like they've shortened Spyglass by 120 yds...not sure why(2007-2009-6953yds)...(2010-6833yds)... :?: Pebble is listed as the same length at 6816.Note of interest...Pebble will play 7040 for the US Open along with the usual 6 inch rough I'm sure

So Mike makes the Power Rankings again despite the poor round last Friday...this time 4th behind the Ice Man,PigPen& Opie...jeez I love these nicknames :D I have a feeling this new(or rather old) course will make-or-break the week.Being on the shore like Pebble may affect the scores if the wind blows ;)

Dustin = Dusty - taken in a literal sense - mix in some Charlie Brown = Pigpen.
