Derek graduated from Paul Dwyer Catholic High School in Oshawa,
Ontario, Canada in 1996... Member of the 1995 and 1996 Canadian Junior
Team... Traveled to Japan with the team to compete in junior world
championships... Named top golfer in Ontario in 1995 and 1996... Was
1995-96 high school athlete of the year. An All-America selection in 1999 after tying for sixth at the
NCAA Championships for the University of Arizona. Hobbies include playing hockey and working out.
