In a week where there was considerable movement within the World Top-10, it was Darren Clarke who had to make way for Mike Weir at World No.9. Due to their runner-up finishes, Ernie Els replaces Davis Love III at World No.4; David Toms remains at World No.7 whilst Sergio Garcia jumps past both Toms and Vijay Singh to return to his highest position of No.6 in the World. Weir takes home $900,000 of the $5 million purse and ends the season at No.11 in the US PGA TOUR money list with $2,777,936.
On the Japan Golf Tour this week, Dean Wilson won the Ube Kosan Open and Dean moves up an astonishing 31 places to No.70 in the World. Dean is in 3rd position in the Japan Golf Tour Official Money List with 111,596,000 YEN - fractionally behind Shingo Katayama but still a long way behind the clear leader - Toshimitsu Izawa.
Dean Wilson and Mike Weir were college teammates at Brigham Young University. Both still reside in Utah.
