Three Share Lead at Canadian Womens Open

Catriona Matthew, Michelle Ellis and Grace Park battled the elements to share the lead at 4-under, while first round leader Kate Golden dropped one stroke back to tie with Namika Omata at 3-under.
"This has to be the toughest 1-under I've shot in a long time," said Ellis. "We played in the U.S. Open in Kansas and it was windy in Scotland last week, but out there right now is not really a place you want to be at the moment."
"I'm pleased to be in and finished," said Matthew, who shot 70 both days. "Today was probably as good as I could have done out there; it was pretty tough in the wind."
The difficult conditions were reflected in the scores, with only 10 players breaking par after two rounds. Seventy-nine golfers made the +8 cut (152), the highest cut in a non-major event on the LPGA Tour this season.
Lorie Kane was the top Canadian, shooting +3 today for a two-day total of 5-over 149. Angela Buzminski and Dawn Coe-Jones, both at +7, will also return for the final rounds.
