Junior Golfers Walk with the Pros at the Bell Canadian Open

Markham, Ont. - Twenty-five young golfers will experience the thrill of a lifetime Wednesday as they join some of the world's best professional golfers at the Bell Canadian Open. The young fans, from the Bank of Montreal Future Links junior golf program, will walk inside the ropes and act as honourary caddies for the PGA Tour pros on the 17th hole in tomorrow's championship pro-am.

"We are thrilled to offer these young golfers such an exceptional opportunity," said David Vaccari, manager of the Future Links program. "Just being at the Open and seeing some of their golf idols is a tremendous experience; walking inside the ropes and interacting with the pros is a dream come true for them."

Fifty-two teams of three amateurs and one PGA Tour pro will tee it up in the championship pro-am tomorrow, beginning at 7:10 am.
