Fri, 20 Jan 2012 11:56:38

All five Canadians made the third round cut at the Asian Tour Q-School final stage on Friday, setting up a one round showdown for 2012 Tour status.

Ron Harvey Jr., of Sussex, N.B., struggled over his final nine holes to post a third round 75, dropping him to 1-under par, just one stroke outside of the top 40 and ties needed to secure his 2012 card.

Darren Griff of Nanaimo, B.C. and Winnipeg's Matt Johnston are also tied at 1-under par following rounds of 74 and 72, respetively.

Lindsay Renolds of Christina Lake, B.C., is two outside the cut line after a third round 73 while Canadian Tour player Danny Sahl of Sherwood Park, Alta., carded a round of 76 to sit in a tie for 80th which was the cut off for the third round cut. He is three strokes outside the top 40 entering Saturday's final round.

Canadian Tour player Dodge Kemmer of the United States and Yosuke Tsukada and Masanori Kobayashi - both of Japan - are tied for the lead at 11-under par.
