Message From Mike Weir

Since its conception, MikeWeir.com has grown to be one of the main sources of information on Canadian golf. The website serves as a place for Canadian and International golf fans alike to access up to date coverage and information on my career, and other Canadians making an impact in the world of golf. Canadians such as Ian Leggatt, Derek Gillespie, Jon Mills, and Lorie Kane are among the many Canadian golfers we have featured on the site.

My success on the PGA Tour has been a result of hard work with a team of supporters. Continue to look for features and tips from my caddy Brennan Little and Dr. Rich Gordin, my sports psychologist. These individuals are among the many people who are closely involved in my career and will continue contributing to the site.

Canadian Golf Hall of Fame member George Knudson leads all Canadians in PGA TOUR victories with eight. Mike Weir is ranked second with seven wins.

The winter break from golf lasts 25 days from the final putt at the Target World Challenge (Dec. 12) to the opening tee shot at the Mercedes Championships (Jan. 6).

Glen Abbey Golf Course in Oakville, Ontario, and host of the 2004 Bell Canadian Open was ranked the 4th toughest course on the PGA TOUR in 2004. Shinnecock Hills was ranked the first toughest course, with Royal Troon second and Augusta National third.
